Suite Booking Terms and Conditions including Cancellation Policy.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings no matter which agent has taken the booking on our behalf. Please read them carefully and discuss with us 01624 626125 if anything causes you an issue with regards your booking.

Bookings

All rates are per suite per night and are in UK Pounds Sterling. All rates are correct at the time of publication and are inclusive of VAT and services. We reserve the right to amend rates for bookings made in excess of 60 days prior to arrival. Any amendments will be notified in writing (to include notification by email) not less than 30 days prior to arrival. After submitting a reservation request your reservation will be accepted and confirmed as soon as possible and in any event by the next day. Live and Work Hotels will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the requirements of each reservation are met to the best of its ability. Live and Work Hotels reserves the right, if necessary, to provide an alternative suite of at least equivalent standard at no extra charge to you.

Check-in time is 1500 hours and check-out time is 1100 hours.

Payments

For online reservations a valid credit or debit card is required. For other means of reservation payment can also be made by cheque or bank transfer in advance. Payment for your stay is due in full at the end of your stay. In some high demand periods (for instance for TT fortnight) we reserve the right to ask for payment in full, in advance of your stay. In addition please see our deposit policy below for longer bookings. Payments in advance or bookings secured by credit or debit card are subject to cancellation policy as below. You are responsible for the cost of any phone calls or extras (being those items not specifically included in the charge as referred to on the website of Live and Work Hotels and in Live and Work Hotels's promotional literature). You are liable for any damage or breakages caused by you or your visitors to the suite and/or the common areas of the building that the suite is situated in. Credit card imprints will be required on or prior to arrival to cover the cost of any phone calls, extras, damage and/or breakages and you agree that Live and Work Hotels is authorised to use such imprints to cover such costs.

Deposits

A deposit equal to 1 nights stay is payable for bookings of over 3 nights or for 2 rooms or more on a single booking. Payment should be made within 7 days of receipt of our confirmation. Payment is required in advance in full for TT payments.

Cancellations

You must notify Live and Work Hotels in writing of a cancellation to your reservation. Excluding reservations for the TT period the cancellation policy is as follows:

• Reservations of less than 14 days where more than 48 hours notice of cancellation is provided.
  
  No charge
• All reservations where less than 48 hours notice of cancellation is given, or you fail to arrive or you make an early departure.
  
  You will be charged a sum equivalent to the lesser of (1) the rental charge or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT).
• For reservations made for a rental period of in excess of 14 days:
  
  If you cancel the reservation more than 48 hours before the date that you were scheduled to arrive you will be charged a sum equivalent to (1) seven night's accommodation or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT) subject to a maximum of seven nights;
• All bookings made through online agents such as Laterooms.com or bookings.com must be cancelled through the agent or payment will remain due in full. We are unable to cancel these bookings on your behalf.

Each suite booked is treated as a separate booking for the purposes of this cancellation policy.

If any payment is not made by you on the due date, Live and Work Hotels shall be entitled, without limiting any other rights it may have, to charge interest on the outstanding amount (both before and after any judgment) at the rate of 6% above the base rate from time to time of Barclays Bank plc from the due date until the outstanding amount is paid in full.

Suite Rules

The following rules together with any other such rules which are notified to you in writing or are displayed at the suite apply to your stay (together the 'rules'): The limit to the total number of guests who stay overnight in the suite is restricted to 4. For each additional person in excess of this limit Live and Work Hotels reserves the right to charge a supplement of an amount equivalent to the rental charge divided by 2 for each night that such additional person(s) stay at the suite. You agree to observe all reasonable precautions for safety and security of the suite and the common areas of the building that the suite is situated in. You agree not to keep in the suites any of the following: any live animals of any description; articles or liquids that are dangerous, noxious, inflammable, explosive or which may give rise to a health or fire risk; firearms, illegal drugs or any other illegal goods; anything unlawfully in your possession; anything specified as being prohibited in any written notice or list, which may be issued from time to time by Live and Work Hotels. You agree not to use the suite for any business purpose and/or any purpose which is illegal and/or immoral. In the event of a breach of any of the rules, Live and Work Hotels reserves the right to terminate its contract with you with immediate effect and in such circumstances the charge (or balance of the charge) is payable immediately. In addition you agree to indemnify Live and Work Hotels against any losses, damages and expenses (including costs) it suffers due to breach of any rules by you. You acknowledge that Live and Work Hotels and its agents can have unrestricted and immediate right of access at all times to the suite in the event of an emergency (or a perceived emergency) and have a right of access at all other times upon reasonable notice given by Live and Work Hotels to you.

Housekeeping Policy

We endeavour to create a “home away from home” environment and so permit you to request a frequency of housekeeping which suits yourselves. In the absence of instruction to the contrary all suites have a daily Monday to Friday maintenance clean with sheets and towels changed on every third day of your stay. There is no housekeeping service on weekends and bank holidays unless specifically requested.

Warranties and Liability

Nothing contained in the contract between you and Live and Work Hotels shall create or be deemed or implied to create any relationship of landlord or tenant between Live and Work Hotels and you. Live and Work Hotels warrants that it will provide the services pursuant to its contract with you using reasonable care and skill. All other warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Live and Work Hotels is not responsible in any way for loss of or damage to any of your personal belongings. Live and Work Hotels recommends that you obtain appropriate insurance cover loss or damage to personal property during your stay. Live and Work Hotels is not liable for the acts or defaults caused by third parties or for events outside its reasonable control. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by Live and Work Hotels' negligence, Live and Work Hotels shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of its contract with you, for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of Live and Work Hotels, its servants or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the service provided by Live and Work Hotels or the use of that service by you or which results from any access or use, or any inability to access or use, this site. The entire liability of Live and Work Hotels under or in connection with its contract with you shall not exceed the rental charge. Nothing in the terms shall affect a consumer's statutory rights. Although Live and Work Hotels has endeavoured to ensure all information on its website and in its publications is correct at the time of publication, Live and Work Hotels does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information contained on its website or in its publications. Live and Work Hotels reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility, amenity or the content of its website or any publication at any time, without notice if necessary, and without any liability to you.

General

In these terms 'Live and Work Hotels' means Live and Work Limited a company registered under the laws of Isle of Man under company registration number 117962C and whose registered office is at 24 Loch Promenade, Douglas Isle of Man IM1 2LX 'you' means the person (being an individual, firm or corporation) set out in the reservation form 'charge' means the charge(s) payable by you as set out in the reservation form 'period' means the period set out in the reservation form 'suite' means the suite referred to in the reservation form (or such other suite of a similar standard in a similar location as notified to you by Live and Work Hotels) 'reservation form' means form or email sent to you by Live and Work Hotels confirming your reservation The reservation form and the terms contain all the terms of the agreement between you and Live and Work Hotels. Any variation to the reservation form and/or the terms needs to be agreed in writing signed by you and a duly authorised signatory of Live and Work Hotels. Live and Work Hotels reserves the right to update any of the terms at any time. The contract between you and Live and Work Hotels and the use of Live and Work Hotels websites is governed by, and is to be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Isle of Man. By using the web site you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Isle of Man. The headings in the terms are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

Any use of any material on this site or in other Live and Work Hotels publications is prohibited. The Live and Work Hotels name and logo are subject to trademarks. Live and Work Hotels websites may provide links with other websites operated by third parties. Live and Work Hotels does not monitor these sites and is not responsible for their content. Live and Work Hotels makes no warranties regarding these websites. If you link to another website you do so at your own risk. To make an online reservation you must be 18 years or older and you must have the legal authority to enter an agreement. You warrant that all information that you supply is true and accurate. As a condition of usage of Live and Work Hotels website you agree that you will not use it for any purpose that is unlawful or in any manner which violates any rights of Live and Work Hotels or any relevant third party or associate of Live and Work Hotels. Live and Work Hotels makes no representation that the content of its website complies with the laws of any country outside of the Isle of Man. If you access its website from overseas you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for complying and abiding by the laws of the country from which you accessed it.
