Suite Booking Terms and Conditions including Cancellation PolicyImportant NoticesThe Hotel is completely Non Smoking, please do not smoke it ruins the facility for those that follow you. If you persist in smoking a charge of £100 for fumigation and cleaning will be levied. It is a converted Victorian Guest House and there are steps both into the building and progressively up to each suite without a lift. If you are arriving out of normal business hours - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday please confirm the time you will arrive at the Town House so that the Duty Manager can meet you and provide an introduction to the suite entry system and hotel services. Please contact the Hotel - 01624 626125 if you are delayed or your plans change. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings no matter which agent has taken the booking on our behalf. Please read them carefully and discuss with us 01624 626125 if anything causes you an issue with regards your booking. BookingsAll rates are per suite per night and are in UK Pounds Sterling. All rates are correct at the time of publication and are inclusive of VAT and services. We reserve the right amend rates for bookings made in excess of 60 days prior to arrival. Any amendments will be notified in writing (to include notification by email) not less than 30 days prior to arrival. After submitting a reservation request your reservation will be accepted and confirmed as soon as possible and in any event by the next day. Town House will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the requirements of each reservation are met to the best of its ability. Town House reserves the right if necessary to provide an alternative suite of at least equivalent standard at no extra charge to you. Check-in time is 1500 hours and check-out time is 1100 hours. PaymentsFor online reservations a valid credit or debit card is required for reservations. For other means of reservation payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer in advance. For all bookings payment in full is due only at the end of your stay, with the exception of some bookings made online when a deposit equal to the cost of the first night's stay may have been charged to your credit card and for longer stay bookings when a deposit may be applicable. Payments in advance or bookings secured by credit or debit card are subject to cancellation fees as below. You are responsible for the cost of any phone calls or extras (being those items not specifically included in the charge as referred to on the website of Town House and in Town House's promotional literature). You are liable for any damage or breakages caused by you or your visitors to the suite and/or the common areas of the building that the suite is situated in. Credit card imprints will be required on or prior to arrival to cover the cost of any phone calls, extras, damage and/or breakages and you agree that Town House is authorised to use such imprints to cover such costs. American ExpressPlease note that payments with an American Express Card will incur a finance charge of 3% which reflects the premium above other card types charged by American Express to its merchants. DepositsA deposit equal to 1 nights stay is payable for bookings of over 3 nights or for 2 suites or more on a single booking. Payment should be made within 7 days of receipt of our confirmation. Deposits are non refundable unless the suite is resold. CancellationYou must notify Town House in writing of a cancellation to your reservation. For reservations made for a rental period of below one month: If you cancel the reservation more than 48 hours before the date that you were scheduled to arrive every effort will be made to re-let the suite booked in which case no charge will be made however if we are unable to re-let the suite, for stays of 1-6 days you will be charged a sum equivalent to one night's accommodation, for stays of 7 days or more you will be charged a maximum of 3 nights accommodation ; or If you cancel the reservation less than 48 hours before the date that you were scheduled to arrive or if you do not stay for the full rental period, or you fail to arrive for a reservation, you will be charged a sum equivalent to the lesser of (1) the rental charge or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT). For reservations made for a rental period of one month or above: If you cancel the reservation more than 48 hours before the date that you were scheduled to arrive you will be charged a sum equivalent to (1) seven night's accommodation or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT) subject to a maximum of seven nights; or If you cancel the reservation less than 48 hours before the date that you were scheduled to arrive or if you do not stay for the full period, you will be charged a sum equivalent to the lesser of (1) the charge or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT). Each suite booked is treated as a separate booking for the purposes of this cancellation policy. If any payment is not made by you on the due date, Town House shall be entitled, without limiting any other rights it may have, to charge interest on the outstanding amount (both before and after any judgment) at the rate of 6% above the base rate from time to time of Barclays Bank plc from the due date until the outstanding amount is paid in full. Suite RulesThe following rules together with any other such rules which are notified to you in writing or are displayed at the suite apply to your stay (together the 'rules'): The limit to the total number of guests who stay overnight in the suite is restricted to 4. Town House reserves the right to charge a supplement for each additional person in excess of the above shown limits an amount equivalent to the rental charge ÷ 2 for each night that such additional person(s) stay at the suite. You agree to observe all reasonable precautions for safety and security of the suite and the common areas of the building that the suite is situated in. You agree not to keep in the suites any of the following: any live animals of any description; articles or liquids that are dangerous, noxious, inflammable, explosive or which may give rise to a health or fire risk; firearms, illegal drugs and any other illegal goods; anything unlawfully in your possession; anything specified as being prohibited in any written notice or list, which may be issued from time to time by Town House. You agree not to use the suite for any business purpose and/or any purpose which is illegal and/or immoral. In the event of a breach of any of the rules, Town House reserves the right to terminate its contract with you with immediate effect and in such circumstances the charge (or balance of the charge) is payable immediately. In addition you agree to indemnify Town House against any losses, damages and expenses (including costs) it suffers due to breach of any rules by you. You acknowledge that Town House and its agents can have unrestricted and immediate right of access at all times to the suite in the event of an emergency (or a perceived emergency) and have a right of access at all other times upon reasonable notice given by Town House to you. Warranties and LiabilityNothing contained in the contract between you and Town House shall create or be deemed or implied to create any relationship of landlord or tenant between Town House and you. Town House warrants that it will provide the services pursuant to its contract with you using reasonable care and skill. All other warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Town House is not responsible in any way for loss of or damage to any of your personal belongings. Town House recommends that you obtain appropriate insurance cover loss or damage to personal property during your stay. Town House is not liable for the acts or defaults caused by third parties or for events outside its reasonable control. Important Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by Town House's negligence, Town House shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of its contract with you, for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of Town House, its servants or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the service provided by Town House or the use of that service by you or which results from any access or use, or any inability to access or use, this site. The entire liability of Town House under or in connection with its contract with you shall not exceed the rental charge. Nothing in the terms shall affect a consumer's statutory rights. Although Town House has endeavoured to ensure all information on its website and in its publications is correct at the time of publication, Town House does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information contained on its website or in its publications. Town House reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility, amenity or the content of its website or any publication at any time, without notice if necessary, and without any liability to you. GeneralIn these terms 'Town House' means Live and Work Limited a company registered under the laws of Isle of Man under company registration number 117962C and whose registered office is at 24 Loch Promenade, Douglas Isle of Man IM1 2LX 'you' means the person (being an individual, firm or corporation) set out in the reservation form 'charge' means the charge(s) payable by you as set out in the reservation form 'period' means the period set out in the reservation form 'suite' means the suite referred to in the reservation form (or such other suite of a similar standard in a similar location as notified to you by Town House) 'reservation form' means form or email sent to you by Town House confirming your reservation The reservation form and the terms contain all the terms of the agreement between you and Town House. Any variation to the reservation form and/or the terms needs to be agreed in writing signed by you and a duly authorised signatory of Town House. Town House reserves the right to update any of the terms at any time. The contract between you and Town House and the use of Town House's website is governed by, and is to be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Isle of Man. By using the web site you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Isle of Man. The headings in the terms are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation. Terms of useThe Town House's website, its contents and other Town House publications are subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights whether registered or unregistered. Any use of any material on this site or in other Town House publications is prohibited. The Town House name and logo are subject to trademarks. To make an online reservation you must be 18 years or older and you must have the legal authority to enter an agreement. You warrant that all information that you supply is true and accurate.
